I am soooooo excited!!!!!!
I began counting macros with you in early July 2017 largely due to the fact that my doctor told me I needed to go on a statin drug to bring my cholesterol down.
LOOK WHAT I (WE) DID IN A LITTLE OVER 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In addition, my BP and blood glucose have come down to normal too!!!!! Oh yeah….I have lost a fair amount of weight too…..approaching 20 lbs, putting my BMI into the NORMAL range too.
I knew I would see a difference in my numbers but I NEVER thought I would be well within the norms in such a short time WITHOUT medication. Counting macros works and I will continue to highly recommend it to EVERYONE!!!!!
I can’t wait until I see the Dr who told me I WOULDN’T be able to do it!!!!!
If this isn’t proof that counting macros REALLY works, I don’t know what is. The best part is…..I can continue and be successful for the rest of my life!!!!

I started tracking macros in July of 2017. I was just turning 17 and had NO clue what to expect. I knew that the way I was eating was either not enough, too much, not balanced or something. I was performing and training a lot but I wasn’t getting better or stronger. Partially due to almost breaking my back in early 2017 and having to take 3 months completely off. I was only allowed to walk, that’s it. When I started with Kelli I was getting ready to go to Indiana for 3 weeks for work and for my Great Grandpa’s 100th birthday. I was just starting and didn’t really know how to pre-plan ahead and I was in a hotel with a small fridge. I tried packing some stuff and had my scale but HAP tracked each night for dinner. Defiantly a tough way to start tracking but made it work. I remember the first time I hit all my macros perfectly. I emailed Kelli at 9pm crazy excited! Since then I have stayed about the same weight but I am eating more than I ever have before! I feel amazing and am LOVING my body. I have learned that carbs and fat are NOT bad! For years I thought that they were bad and I was obsessed with what I was eating, the scale, and how I looked. When I was 12-13 I first began my obsession about the scale and my weight. I thought I was fat and thought I needed to lose weight. I got down to about 53#. When I started Crossfit in 2014 I was 14 years old and about 60#. I thought I was “fat.” Being anorexic messed with my mind and perception on food and I never saw myself as beautiful, strong, and confident. I always saw myself as fat, ugly, rolly-polly, etc. Even when I was only 60#. That is all I saw in the mirror. Some days that feeling is still there but for the most part I have learned to love myself and my body.
Kelli and macros have helped me get my mind and body in a healthy place and I am so thankful for that. I am so excited for this year! Ready to be the best me and achieve great things!
I just wanted to share a bit….. I started macros with Kelli Michelle in October. When I took my initial pictures I was so upset by what I saw in the photos that I couldn’t even bring myself to send them. I felt embarrassed and upset for the way I looked. (I had tried so many different nutrition plans for so many years but no success) In January Kelli asked if I was going do the January challenge…… I wasn’t so sure, I knew that meant taking more pictures. But I decided it was time to take the next step, and really push past my comfort zone. When I took the pictures I couldn’t believe it….. I compared them to the initial ones I took in October and there was such a difference …. WOW things have changed in my body. And I just want to ENCOURAGE anyone who feels like they are struggling or feel like their progress is slow…. I felt the same way, I felt like nothing was changing. and even if there was change it was sooooo small…… But 3 months later WOW there was a difference. When tracking macros progress seems snails pace slow….. BUT IT LASTS!!! I’ve tried most fad diets and lost weight faster but each and every time the weight came back…. just as fast… lol I encourage you KEEP GOING, keep tracking, you can do it, and it will be a lasting change you won’t regret! I”m so thankful and grateful for you Kelli Michelle thank you for your guidance, support and love thru this process. Thru tracking macros i have found grace for myself and my imperfections and FINALLY for the first time I feel more comfortable in my skin and in my clothes. Kelli there are not words to describe my appreciation, I cannot thank you enough for the blessing you have been in my life. XO
When I started getting into Crossfit, I tried the Paleo diet but it was so restrictive that I had no energy and kept “cheating”. Over the fall and winter I stopped trying to diet and caved into almost daily trips to have margaritas and queso dip after workouts, which I figured was fine since all I ate for lunch was a salad and I did get a workout it. Well after not weighing myself for months, I got on the scale and was so embarrassed when I saw that I weighed over 160 pounds, which had NEVER happened in my life. I knew it was time to make a change and one that would work for my lifestyle.
When my coworker talked about Kelli and her flexible dieting, I knew that would be such a great fit for me- I just didn’t realize how good of a fit. Even though I’ve never met Kelli (as I live across the country), she is the most motivational person I know. Everytime I had a “bad week” of tracking, she’d light a fire under me to get my butt back in gear, which is EXACTLY what I needed. Along with losing the weight, my strength and endurance have increased so much since working with Kelli. My lifts in Crossfit have gone up (which is never what you hear about when losing weight). I hit a snatch above my body weight, deadlifted 320 pounds AND back squatted almost 300. Ontop of strength, running is now so much easier and I was able to set a personal record in a 5k last week. I’m so thankful to have Kelli as my nutritionist and I’m never going to look back.
Working with Kelli at KMF has changed my life I so many ways. First, her constant encouragement, personalization and maybe a little bit of necessary drill sergeanting have kept me on track!!! Second, learning about macro tracking has increased my knowledge so that I understand what I am doing and how it will affect my body! Kelli took me on as a client in January 2016. I was 6 months postpartum and my weight loss had plateaued. She took the time to really understand my life, my habits, my routine and my body type. She not only took me on my first reverse diet in order to repair my damaged metabolism, but she took the time to educate me about food, myths, nutrient timing and all the factors that contribute to success in reaching goals. My results have been astounding thus far and I have only just begun. I’ve seen physical results both aesthetically and in strength. Overall, the one thing that has changed my life more than anything is my relationship with food. I’m not afraid of carbs anymore. I’m not guilty when I eat desserts. I’m excited to eat and the variety I have been enjoying has been the biggest success. I started to believe that I could only get into great shape if only ate chicken, brown rice and broccoli for the rest of my life. Tracking macros has completely changed how I view fueling my body to perform and function. It’s a lifestyle change but having Kelli on my side is a huge portion of my success, her knowledge is AMAZING and her tough love keeps me right on track. I never feel deprived, I can enjoy the foods I love and continue to see my strength improve and body change in the process. I truly believe in this lifestyle and I would HIGHLY recommend Kelli to anyone looking for serious results.
I have been working with Kelli Michelle for 10 weeks and have dropped 13 pounds. I regularly do Crossfit workouts and have maintained strength on all of my Olympic lifts. What has been amazing is my substantial progress in my body weight movements on pullups, burpees etc… and increased speed on runs; both long distance and short range sprints. I accomplished my first ever bar muscle up in the process as well.
Kelli’s guidance in the process has been amazing. She provides me with frequent feedback on adjusting my macro-nutrients to support my gym performance and is incredibly supportive.
Kelli makes it look easy, throwing out numbers of Proteins/Fats/ Carbs, like she just makes it up in her head, but a few weeks into working with her, you soon realize that there are years of knowledge and tons of science behind every little adjustment she makes and that it works phenomenally well!!!
Since following flex dieting I have leaned out considerably, I have more energy and I’ve kept my strength high. I love that I don’t even have to think about waiting for a cheat meal because with a little creativity, I can treat myself every single day! I love that each day I learn something new about food and about my body. This is definitely something I can continue doing for the rest of my life. Going forward with the knowledge that I can eventually be off my meds completely is so incredibly motivating! I’m excited to see what my future holds!! Kelli Michelle introduced me to Flexible Dieting at a very young age of 49, when I thought I was fit and in shape. It’s been about 1 year now and because of her leadership, I am 15 pounds lighter, and what an improvement in my physical appearance. I was in shape, compared to most, but not the in shape that

I was a notorious binge eater; I would eat so much at each meal that my stomach would hurt. I am not fat by any means but I definitely LOVE food. After finding and now working with Kelli for over a year, I use macro counting to fuel myself to be in tip-top performance shape, BUT most importantly, to keep myself from overindulging when I KNOW I don’t necessarily NEED that much food. MACRO COUNTING IS THE GREATEST!!!

I was honestly a little skeptical at first, but working with Kelli is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made… I was never fat, but had some weight I wanted to lose and no matter how little I ate or how much I worked out, I just could NOT figure out how to get it off! After about two months of letting Kelli work her magic on me and eating what I felt like was a LOT of food [(including ice cream and pizza :)], I had dropped almost 15 pounds and was leaner than I’ve ever been! After I had my first baby, I was never able to lose all the baby weight. I tried everything that had worked for me in the past, but nothing would take off that extra weight without affecting my ability to nurse my baby. I am a very busy working mom, and feared that macro tracking would be too difficult and just one more thing to do. It was difficult at first, but after a couple weeks it became second nature. It’s so great to have the flexibility to eat the foods I want, and It’s easy to fit them in to my routine. Kelli is always quick to reply to my questions and is very helpful in daily planning. Kelli Michelle (Kelli Michelle Fitness) is the BOMB!!! I am eating more than ever while improving athletic performance and recovery. I like how Kelli Michelle encourages healthy eating but at the same time allows us to be able to chose our own foods. I don’t feel like I am on a “diet” but I am learning to make better food choices because I want the proper nutrients for my body. At the same time, I can leave room for some “flexible” foods and I don’t feel deprived. I also learned that my occasional “don’t count” days were called “binges” and with the support of Kelli Michelle, I have not had one of those episodes in a while. When I first attended Kelli Michelle Fitness Macro Tracking Seminar in October 2014, I thought I was going to be able to track on my own.
