Sandy Macro Coach

SANDY HOLZER

Sandy’s “ideal” client is anyone, male or female looking to improve overall body composition, lab work, reduce body fat, and build healthy lean muscle mass. What Sandy really enjoys about flexible dieting is the fact that it is sustainable and realistic for ” long term maintenance.” Sandy has tracked her own “macros” working on food quality and pairing for about 5 years while losing about 18 lbs of her own. Fat loss was not her goal with tracking, fixing her borderline diabetic and high cholesterol lab results were what prompted her to get help and become educated. Sandy has a background in the medical field and wants to help others realize they need to be their own patient advocate. Most diets end but following the “weight loss” there are no skills taught to keep it off. At KMF we work hard to teach the psychology of dieting to each person as they all have different food beliefs and practices. What Sandy loves about coaching is the ability to help people improve their overall health and develop a healthier relationship with food while instilling confidence within them to carry out these practices for the rest of their life when they are on their own.

Jackie Shea

JACKIE SHEA

Growing up I had a passion for health and fitness from a very young age. My parents pushed me to be active as a child, participating in many sports until I fell in love with field hockey. This was my main sport throughout High School.

I was a huge cardio bunny and loved running throughout college. In 2012, right after Graduating from Rutgers University in NJ with my Bachelor Degree I moved to Oregon. In Oregon, I worked at a Physical Therapy clinic where I started to get into lifting weights and other forms of exercise other than running. In 2014 I moved from Oregon to Australia, where I was in a Master Program for Occupational Therapy. There my weight training really took off and I fell in love. I began to read about lifting and started to experiment in the gym with workouts that I created for myself.

I also became interested in competing in a bodybuilding competition. In Australia I went to the Arnold Classic in Melbourne and met some very inspiring professionals. I was hooked.  Through weight training I saw how quickly my body began to change. I wanted to learn more to help push me to compete so I hired a coach. With her assistance I competed in my first  Bikini OCB show. I won both categories I participated in and LOVED it.  My first prep was relatively easy because I’ve always been a pretty clean eater and loved working hard in the gym. This trainer had me eating almost no fat, hardly any carbs, and a strict meal plan. This was tough; however, the enjoyment I had stepping on stage gave me the drive to keep pushing my mind and body to new limits. Along with all that, I was doing 1-2 hours of cardio a day with an additional hour of lifting. I began to feel exhausted and moody. I knew this was a downhill battle and I knew there had to be a better way. I learned about IIFYM/Flexible dieting through online research and then reached out to another coach who wasn’t taking new clients, but led me to Kelli. With Kelli’s immense knowledge base, compassion, and devotion to educating her clients, I soon was able to implement IIFYM for life. I finally began to feel like myself again. I felt empowered and no longer binged because I was able to eat a variety of foods and I never felt deprived. Bringing it to the present day, I now work as a Nutrition Coach and a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. My careers overlap since nutrition is vital to all aspects of life and I see improvement in all of my clients from very young to very old.  I love being able to help others find this empowering feeling and learn how to use flexible dieting for everyday life. Being able to help others optimize their health through a sustainable and holistic approach to nutrition and fitness is an amazing feeling. As long as you keep an open mind, are willing to learn, look and feel your best, I can help YOU build your BEST YOU!
